This Philosophy explains the foundation of beliefs that motivates each counselor at MCS. They are the lens through which we view relationships with our clients and the world.

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because I am marked out by him to give good news to the poor; he has sent me to make well those who are broken-hearted; to say that the prisoners will be let go, and the blind will see, and to make the wounded free from their chains." Luke 4:18.

As individuals called to follow in Jesus' steps as a servant, we believe our role is to provide a place for the love of Christ, the ultimate healing power, to work in people's hearts. God himself, is THE therapy. He is the only One who can touch our deepest hurt and offer light and life to redeem us. We seek to help individuals find balance between personal responsibility and trust in God. Our goal is to help people achieve a vital and rich experience with Jesus Christ, thereby affecting struggles, symptoms, and suffering.
