Before pursuing a career in counseling, Sandy worked as a residential real estate specialist for over ten years. She has experienced counseling those with anxiety, depression, family dynamic struggles, marital conflict, spiritual struggles, abuse, identity issues, life transitions, and self-injury. Sandy has served in Youth Ministries, facilitated a variety of adult spirituality classes, and assisted in creating the SUCCESS Group program through Lindenwood University.

Sandy has volunteered and held positions on such community boards as Friends of Loyola Academy, Young Zoo Friends, Our Little Haven, Angels Arms Foster Homes, and Women Philanthropists for KU. She has a heart and a passion for partnering with children and adults whom struggle to reach their full potential. .
